Science and Technology are getting more advanced and complicated, as a result, many scientific discoveries are published each year.

As a special science class student, it is my dream to work in the field of science. I'm fascinated by science and it became my favorite subject. This month is very special as we triumphantly celebrate the National Science Month anchored on the theme "Metabolize: Nourishing the Filipino Youth Towards National Well-being".

This Science Month Celebration will encourage the students to embrace science not just as a subject but a part of their lives. Science is very important as it gives us new knowledge for practical uses.

The most interesting part of this celebration is the Sci Quiz wherein students from Junior High School can join this contest to test their understanding of the concepts and principles of science.

Another interesting part is the Sci Tricks and Exhibit. In this event, the things that the students learned inside the classroom such as theories and principles are applied using experiments.

Truly, this month is enjoying because of the appealing activities and I personally experienced it since I entered high school. It is an amazing and wonderful month, Science Month.

The foundation day of Ilocos Sur National High School was postponed due to the 2019-nCoV threats and was celebrated on another day. Nevertheless, it was successful day to celebrate our foundation day even on the other day of the month. Parade was done around the city of Vigan headed by the the school employees, and the royal court. After the parade, we showcased our dancing talents through calisthenics and we enjoyed so much and after that we ate as a class and had a salu salo inside the classroom.

"Change is coming" that's what Rodrigo Duterte used as a tagline during the elections. Yes, that's true from our own self to the whole world, change roams the world. The only thing that is constant in this world is change. Nothing is permanent. Change must come to our own selves. We must be ready and voluntarily accept this change. Even our world is changing what more on ourselves. This year there are many things I want to change, from small things to big things. And I am hoping it would be successful. We know that there are huge catastrophic environmental issues that arises and continues to prevail in our world. One of the top contributors is deforestation. According to statistics, the forest size of 20 football fields are cut down every minute for industrial, commercial and other uses. This deforestation cause many trouble in our world, global temperature increases, sea level rises, landslides occur, air becomes polluted and others. If this top contributor continues to exists it can cause more serious problem. This is the reason why influential people are using their names to reach out other people to help in the conservation of our planet. Let us support their project or we can start our own project for our planet. It is a major concern since November is the Environmental Awareness Month.
