Safe Haven

Studying became part of our lives. As a student, we encounter many challenges in the course of our study. The Department of Education- Region I recently adapted the Happy Schools Movement to intensify the implementation of the K-12 curriculum in the provinces of Region I.

This program of the Department of Education aims to provide and to heighten the students the importance of education. Furthermore, it will make the schools a happier place to study and a child friendly school. It will boost the confidence of each students to show off what they got.

This is an all-year round advocacy of the DepEd-R1. The theme for this year's Happy Schools Movement is “Paaralang Masayang Maglingkod, Tagumpay ng Bata’y Itataguyod."

The students will learn more in the academic field as it incorporates new teaching techniques, interactive activities, and learn effectively. This program is useful to provide  positive attitudes for students and to help them lessen their stresses and burdens. Hence, it will define that schools are not just for learning rather as a place where anyone can enjoy and be happy through learning.
